Reasonable Service

Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
Rom 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Deut 28: 14 verses of blessings for obedience.

(Deu 28:1 NKJV) “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.
(Deu 28:2 NKJV) And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God:

54 verses of curses for disobedience.

(Deu 28:15 NKJV) “But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:

(Rom 9:18 NKJV) Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens.
(Rom 9:19 NKJV) You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?”
(Rom 9:20 NKJV) But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?”
(Rom 9:21 NKJV) Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?
(Rom 9:22 NKJV) What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,
(Rom 9:23 NKJV) and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,

Luk 17:7 And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’?
Luk 17:8 But will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink’?
Luk 17:9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not.
Luk 17:10 So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, ‘We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.’ ”

(1Co 9:16 NKJV) For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!
(1Co 9:17 NKJV) For if I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a stewardship.
(1Co 9:18 NKJV) What is my reward then? That when I preach the gospel, I may present the gospel of Christ without charge, that I may not abuse my authority in the gospel.
(1Co 9:19 NKJV) For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more;
(1Co 9:20 NKJV) and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law;
(1Co 9:21 NKJV) to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law;
(1Co 9:22 NKJV) to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
(1Co 9:23 NKJV) Now this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I may be partaker of it with you.

1Co 4:7 For who makes you differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive? Now if you did indeed receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

(Eph 2:8 NKJV) For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
(Eph 2:9 NKJV) not of works, lest anyone should boast.
(Eph 2:10 NKJV) For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

(Luk 9:57 NKJV) Now it happened as they journeyed on the road, that someone said to Him, “Lord, I will follow You wherever You go.”
(Luk 9:58 NKJV) And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

(1Ti 6:6 NKJV) Now godliness with contentment is great gain.
(1Ti 6:7 NKJV) For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
(1Ti 6:8 NKJV) And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.
(1Ti 6:9 NKJV) But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.

(Joh 4:32 NKJV) But He said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.”
(Joh 4:33 NKJV) Therefore the disciples said to one another, “Has anyone brought Him anything to eat?”
(Joh 4:34 NKJV) Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.
(Joh 4:35 NKJV) Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!
(Joh 4:36 NKJV) And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.
(Joh 4:37 NKJV) For in this the saying is true: ‘One sows and another reaps.’
(Joh 4:38 NKJV) I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labors.”

(1Jn 2:15 NKJV) Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
(1Jn 2:16 NKJV) For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.
(1Jn 2:17 NKJV) And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

(Pro 23:4 NKJV) Do not overwork to be rich; Because of your own understanding, cease!
(Pro 23:5 NKJV) Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; They fly away like an eagle toward heaven.

(3Jn 1:3 NKJV) For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth.
(3Jn 1:4 NKJV) I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

(Php 1:21 NKJV) For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
(Php 1:22 NKJV) But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell.
(Php 1:23 NKJV) For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.
(Php 1:24 NKJV) Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you.
(Php 1:25 NKJV) And being confident of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith,
(Php 1:26 NKJV) that your rejoicing for me may be more abundant in Jesus Christ by my coming to you again.
(Php 1:27 NKJV) Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel,

(Mar 10:28 NKJV) Then Peter began to say to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You.”
(Mar 10:29 NKJV) So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s,
(Mar 10:30 NKJV) who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.
(Mar 10:31 NKJV) But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”

(Mat 23:1 NKJV) Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples,
(Mat 23:2 NKJV) saying: “The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat.
(Mat 23:3 NKJV) Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do.
(Mat 23:4 NKJV) For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
(Mat 23:5 NKJV) But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments.
(Mat 23:6 NKJV) They love the best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues,
(Mat 23:7 NKJV) greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’
(Mat 23:8 NKJV) But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren.
(Mat 23:9 NKJV) Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.
(Mat 23:10 NKJV) And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ.
(Mat 23:11 NKJV) But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.
(Mat 23:12 NKJV) And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

This is being humble:

Luk 17:10 So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, ‘We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.’ ”

(Gen 41:14 NKJV) Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him quickly out of the dungeon; and he shaved, changed his clothing, and came to Pharaoh.
(Gen 41:15 NKJV) And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I have had a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you that you can understand a dream, to interpret it.”
(Gen 41:16 NKJV) So Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, “It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.”

(Gen 41:33 NKJV) “Now therefore, let Pharaoh select a discerning and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt.
(Gen 41:34 NKJV) Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, to collect one-fifth of the produce of the land of Egypt in the seven plentiful years.
(Gen 41:35 NKJV) And let them gather all the food of those good years that are coming, and store up grain under the authority of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.
(Gen 41:36 NKJV) Then that food shall be as a reserve for the land for the seven years of famine which shall be in the land of Egypt, that the land may not perish during the famine.”

(Gen 41:37 NKJV) So the advice was good in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of all his servants.
(Gen 41:38 NKJV) And Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?”
(Gen 41:39 NKJV) Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you.
(Gen 41:40 NKJV) You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.”
(Gen 41:41 NKJV) And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”

(Luk 12:32 NKJV) “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
(Luk 12:33 NKJV) Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys.
(Luk 12:34 NKJV) For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

(Col 3:22 NKJV) Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.
(Col 3:23 NKJV) And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,
(Col 3:24 NKJV) knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
(Col 3:25 NKJV) But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.
(Col 4:1 NKJV) Masters, give your bondservants what is just and fair, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.
(Col 4:2 NKJV) Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving;

(Luk 17:11 NKJV) Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
(Luk 17:12 NKJV) Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off.
(Luk 17:13 NKJV) And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
(Luk 17:14 NKJV) So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.
(Luk 17:15 NKJV) And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God,
(Luk 17:16 NKJV) and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.
(Luk 17:17 NKJV) So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
(Luk 17:18 NKJV) Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?”
(Luk 17:19 NKJV) And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.”

(1Th 5:16 NKJV) Rejoice always,
(1Th 5:17 NKJV) pray without ceasing,
(1Th 5:18 NKJV) in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

(Dan 3:17 NKJV) If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.
(Dan 3:18 NKJV) But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”
