To sin I once was a slave
Until the Lord my soul did save

To the giants I once did fear
Now Tremble at my voice when they do hear

Oh my brother enslaved to sin
Why do battles you never win?

Oh how lazy and weak you must be
If only you were strong like me

Down upon my brother I looked
Forgetting to the same sins I once was hooked

I learned pride comes before a fall
I was humbled and felt so small

I once was helped when I was weak
Feeling strong I was not meek

The lord was waiting patiently
To seek an occasion against me

An occasion he certainly found
With a millstone around my neck I did drown

Looking back I can now see
How the Lord does work with me

By every word I will live
As life to me He does give
